For our store in Skövde, we are looking for a service-oriented and relationship-building dog groomer for our grooming studio. In the role of dog groomer, you will also work as a store salesperson. Does this sound like something for you? Welcome to apply for the position!

Qualifications:

We prefer that you have experience and are a trained dog groomer or have documented work experience in coat trimming & nail clipping.

Personal qualities such as a high sense of service, drive, good collaboration skills, organizational skills, and a genuine interest in our customers are some of the qualities we highly value.

If you have sales experience from retail and knowledge of and interest in our grounded product range within animals and nature, as well as a forklift license, it is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

In the responsibility for our grooming studio, the following qualifications/job responsibilities apply:

• Possess knowledge of how to handle and perform our services such as nail clipping, paw trimming, grooming, bathing and drying, mat removal, and coat plucking.
• Professionally interact with animals and their owners
• Be responsible for online booking and update bookable times in case of schedule changes
• Ensure that routines and regulations are followed within Pet Assistance
• Be responsible for cleanliness and tidiness in the Pet Assistance premises
• Participate in training related to Pet Assistance
• Be involved in helping Pet Assistance achieve its defined goals
• Actively work with sales and advice on our wide range of Animal & Nature products
• Planning and follow-up of customer activities
• Heavy lifting may occur
• Other store work may occur

Position: Special fixed-term employment 50%. The contract period extends to August 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The position also involves work during evenings and weekends.
